Inclusive Labour Market

The WRR, SER, VNO-NCW and the Commission for the Regulation of Work unanimously agree that it is time for labour market reform. Many issues such as flexibility, security and development within the labour market were left unaddressed for decades. With the changing consumer and labour needs, it has become clear that a revised approach is urgently needed so that everyone can experience job and income security.

We used a co-creative process to help Tilburg University and its partner network toward jointly defining direction for this innovative collaboration. Partners included large scale organizations like CNV, NS, Philips, Rabobank, ING, UWV, KLM, Randstad and Achmea. We also helped programming actions to achieve the breakthrough to an inclusive labour market. This included themes such as; movement inside and outside the organization, experiencing new certainties as an employee, and further mobility of workers between organizations.

Yellowchess used design sessions to turn a group of large organisations with different interests and challenges into a group with a shared view of the future. By getting them to work together on a systemic issue with multiple layers and dependencies. The refreshing approach helped. Not thinking from the current system but starting from a beckoning perspective and translating that back in concrete terms.
