With a hybrid background in design and strategy, Ferdy is expert in bringing people together in a spirit of creative collaboration to address complex system challenges and create new partnership ecosystems.

Senior Innovation Designer
Are you an experienced and visionary designer eager to make an impact? We are looking for a senior innovation designer to lead breakthrough projects tackling major societal challenges.
Your role:
As a senior designer at Yellowchess, you will spearhead the creative direction of innovation projects. Collaborating closely with clients and our multidisciplinary team, you will design meaningful solutions and strategies that inspire change and drive impact.
Responsibilities:
- Leading projects from insight to activation, ensuring alignment with client goals and our approach
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions that engage and activate stakeholders
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in design, applying insights to enhance the effectiveness of our work
- Present groundbreaking concepts and strategies to clients with clarity and conviction, articulating the value of our approach
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of social-, strategy-, or experience design
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with a diverse portfolio showcasing impactful design solutions
- Experienced with innovation processes and design methodologies
- Excellent graphic and writing skills, to translate ideas into engaging visual communication
- Speaks and writes Dutch and English
- A passion for driving positive change through design and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity
Design internship
Are you a creative thinker with a passion for social design, strategy and concept creation? We are looking for enthusiastic designers who are eager to intern and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.
Your Role:
As a design intern at Yellowchess, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional and creative setting. You'll collaborate with our experienced team of designers and contribute to various projects on different transition themes, ranging from mobility, health & wellbeing to themes like water and social inclusion.
